This limited edition Smoky Quartz palette* from Lily Lolo is one which I haven't been able to devote much time to until recently. I have been super busy with various things going on in my personal life, as well as running TheVeganKind (A monthly 'lifestyle' subscription box for vegans) so my make up has been super simple and basic - I've basically just been using eyeliner and mascara for weeks; if I am feeling crazy I'll simply add a light wash of shimmery pale shadow and that has literally been the extent of it. However, I have so many eye shadows lying neglected in my make up drawers that I decided it was high time I brought out some of my new ones to try and I am so pleased I did.
In their own words:
''The Smoky Quartz palette is a Limited Edition Pressed Eye Shadow Quad, containing a shimmering white perfect for highlighting, dusky rose to add a touch of feminine glamour, taupe shimmer and rich matte brown to contour and create a smoky effect.''
It is a really gorgeous palette - the shades complement each other really nicely and I am particularly in love with with the dusky rose shade. I definitely see this palette featuring heavily over these next summer months. The smoky shadows aren't too densely pigmented and the highlight and pink shades add a summery warmth to it, so I think it will be lovely for hopefully many a Summer evening spent enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine. (The Sun has only been out for two days here in Scotland and already I am whipping out my Summer wardrobe).
Good news if you like the look of this palette - it is currently on sale on the Lily Lolo website, reduced from £18.99 to a nifty £12.00
This pretty palette is of course vegan friendly and 100% cruelty free.
